From diabetes to heart disease, it definitely is not a pretty picture if you don&#8217;t get the spare tire under control before it is too late. So, how to lose your belly fat and get that slim appearance you so desperately want?</p>
<p>There&#8217;s obviously is no secret diet plan, protein shake, or dietary supplement that is going to magically dissolve all of your belly fat overnight. If there were, you would certainly be skinny by now with all of the diets and gimmicks you have tried, right?</p>
<p>The fact is that there is no big secret just waiting to be discovered. It has in fact already been discovered and reported to exhaustion with few people actually listening. The most effective means of losing body fat is and always has been to stop eating more than you need and to engage in physical activity.<span id="more-80"></span></p>
<p>The sweat part of the equation is a matter of doing cardio exercises regularly. This is what will start the process of actually burning of stored fat in your body, as long as you are consuming fewer calories than your body needs to function and power through those workouts. When your body has burned off everything you fed it at the current moment and it is presented with a half hour jog, the natural response will be to dig into those stored fat cells and start burning the reserve fuel stores and create the energy it needs to function.</p>
<p>While most people find that they do start losing at least some fat from the belly first, there is no way to force the body to pull from that area first. So doing exercises that only target the stomach won&#8217;t be the answer.  You need to have a program of exercise that works the entire body to begin losing fat.</p>
<p>Do not add anymore fat to your belly. Understand that refined carbs like white breads and pasta or sugary processed foods are likely to go straight to your gut. If you switch to whole grains and eat lots of vegetables and fruits with lean meats, you are likely to see more success with your workout sessions. <p>Learning how to lose your belly fat really is not very difficult at all. If you stop searching for a miracle cure that doesn&#8217;t exist and focus on getting  to the real work of making it happen through proper diet and heart pumping activity, you will have that slim figure much faster.</p>

You can&#8217;t expect to reduce belly fat if you just exercise and continue to eat all the junk food in the world.</p>
<p>In order to burn belly fat, you should eat a healthy diet and you need to get proper exercise.  That&#8217;s not to say that you should just do crunches and sit-ups but also include thigh exercises in your routine to maintain overall body shaping. Belly fat is one of the first to burn off when you start doing exercises. With a good diet and exercise you can start reducing belly fat very fast.</p>
<p>In general, people who want to reduce belly fat need to pursue a high protein diet and eat foods that are low in calories. What this essentially means is that you should consume plenty of meat and fish but that you should try to avoid sugars and starches.<span id="more-25"></span></p>
<p>You should also break your meals up into smaller portions and spread your food intake across five or six meals rather than the usual three. Only eat enough so that you can make it to the next meal which should be another high protein diet.</p>

It is imperative that you drink adequate amounts of water when on a high protein diet so that it helps your digestion system break up the proteins in your food efficiently. You can also have a protein shake right after your exercise routine.</p>
<p>Include squats, push ups and other exercises in your routine. Men should perform squats with weights on their shoulders for maximum results. The reason for people to focus on squats to reduce belly fat is because the thighs are the biggest muscles in the body. Once your thigh muscles are developed, burning fat in other parts of your body, especially in your stomach region is going to be much easier.</p>
<p>Exercises that focus on your abdomen such as sit ups and chin-ups that will burn fat around your midsection and shoulders are good to incorporate into your exercise workout. You don&#8217;t need to exercise for hours rather, fifteen to twenty  minutes each day or every other day will be just as effective as long as you make it a point to work out regularly.</p>
<p>The best way to get rid of belly fat isn&#8217;t the easiest way, but once you get into a routine of eating a proper diet and performing belly fat busting exercises, you won&#8217;t have to worry about carrying around that spare tire anymore.</p>
